The lifesaver is a tool that I have always admired on both physically and symbolically. It is nice to know how easy it really is to help save someone or be saved yourself. I think that the Lifesaver should become more prevalent in areas both near and away from the water. Someone just waiting for the bus might need to be saved and this l Lifesaver could be just what he needs.  The same Lifesaver could also help someone save there fellow man in the middle of Central Park.
