Installation

In a form we have no words for,
and you live in it

Handmade and existing bags merge in the installation “In a form we have no words for, and you live in it.” Minute bags are created, becoming pixels of reality. With a consistency of structure, the energy and quality of the material is rediscovered through the tiniest bag.

The repetition of open, empty bags amplifies the larger existence of a substance behind each vacant space. The work extracts the essence of the tree, still existing in the smallest particle. Recognizing this life within everyday objects connects with my “Notice-Forest” series of shopping bags.
